Most of us are familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. Some of us already use these tools for our libraries. But are we using them effectively? Let me show you how to create a social media plan and set goals so you can get the most out of social media and effectively market your library, programs, and services. You will learn why a social media presence is essential for your library’s advocacy and marketing, tips on creating the best posts for each platform, and how to create your own customized social media plan.
