The RISE Network works with public libraries to provide Albertans with opportunities to communicate with health care professionals, participate in distance education, attend meetings, learn new skills and more – all by videoconference from their local library.

Kids Can Code at the Library

Join Marigold Library System's Summer Program Student Grant Stewart as he shares about resources available to teach coding to children and how to run kids coding programs at your library.

This session will include:

  • Coding Basics/Terminology
  • Online Coding Resources
  • Children's Coding Program Ideas

This session will last approximately 45 minutes; 30 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for questions

Minecraft in the Library: How to Run Minecraft Programs
